Windows 10 is a pretty cool OS by Microsoft. It comes with an incredible user interface and many advanced features. But, this OS bears little familiarity with its predecessors, especially Windows 7 and older versions. If you are new to Windows 10, you may need help every now and then. Also, if you run into a problem, you will want to get quick assistance. The good news is there are many ways to get help in Windows 10. Here is the list!

Method 1: Using the Built-in Help Feature

Most Windows 10 supported programs have integrated help feature from where you can get assistance on a wide range of topics. You can access the help feature by clicking on Help menu in the main menu bar. If you do not find the Help menu, you will need to locate the ‘question-mark’ icon. Cortana is your personal virtual assistant that comes for free with Windows 10. Developed by Microsoft, Cortana can be a very handy tool for users. It is indeed one of the most talked about features of the latest edition of Windows.

As a personal assistant, this intelligent app lets you schedule the meetings, set the appointments, get reminded of important dates, and search for the files in the folders on your hard disk. But, that is not it! Cortana is also capable of providing help to you related to the basic issues.

You can interact with Cortana through voice commands. But, you must have a microphone connected (or built-in) to your computer. You can type your question or speak it out. If you have one of frequently asked questions, Cortana will give you instant answers. It has its own database of questions and answers.

Method 4: Microsoft Support Website

  • Select ‘Windows’ in the section ‘Which product do you need help with?’
  • In the Browse Categories dropdown, select ‘Windows 10’ (if not already selected)

Here you will see the list of the trending topics. These are the most popular recent help topics. Scroll down a bit and you will see a list of topics by categories (such as ‘Install, upgrade, & activate’, ‘Get Started’, ‘Microsoft Account’, and many more.)
